At Domaine du Fan in Haute-Vienne  – Led by Guy Mokuhō Mercier and the disciples of the Tenbōrin Sangha

There are places that seem beyond time and space. Places where nature itself teaches; where century-old cedars stand like monks and nuns — upright, silent, deeply rooted long before us.
Domaine du Fan is one of those places. We return there for the third time, as one returns to what truly matters.
For nine days, together, we will set down the burden of ordinary life. No more rushing, no more noise, no more excess. In its place: the simplicity of communal life, the joy of carrying out each gesture with care, the depth of a shared presence.

Master Dōgen wrote:

What joy to be born a human being and prepare meals for the Three Treasures.

This is the spirit we will cultivate together — the spirit of the Bodhisattva — in the dojo as in the kitchen, in zazen as in samu, in every gesture returned to its pure simplicity.
Guy Mokuhō and his disciples will lead the teachings in the living continuity of our tradition and in the simple kindness of our Sangha.
These nine days together — for both newcomers and long-time practitioners — will be like a pause outside ordinary life, a time to nourish and restore ourselves, so that when we return to the world our practice may be more conscious, more alive, and more deeply rooted in everyday life.
