Why Support Us ?
The Hōrinji religious association, the Sōtō Zen Buddhist Wheel of Dharma Association, aims to facilitate Sōtō Zen Buddhist practice and to transmit the teachings of the Buddha, Dogen Zenji, Keizan Zenji and the masters of the Sōtō Zen school.
Following the closure of the Lanau Zen Buddhist Centre, the Hōrinji religious association was transferred to promote and administer the management of religious practice at the Bodaiju Zen Buddhist Centre in Esvres sur Indre. Its mission is also to prepare for the future, to support the ministers of the religon, referring to the lineage and teachings of the Rev, Guy Mokuhō Mercier and, if necessary, to develop new projects.
Hōrinji can receive legacies and donations entitling French tax payers to a tax deduction of 2/3 to 3/4 of the amount on their tax form. These donations are very welcome. They will enable us to help those who need to refocus, meditate, deepen their understanding of the Way and open their bodhisattva heart.
Together with you, we are part of this movement to bring a little stability to the world by keeping the Buddha’s teaching alive.
