Summer Sessions

  • 6th – 14th July – sesshin 12th – 14th
  • 10th – 18th August – sesshin 16th – 18th

This summer, we are offering two retreats, one in July and one in August. For each one, there will be a welcome for beginners. During the August session children are welcome, and a programme of activities offered for them. Through games, workshops and outing in nature and interpersonal relationships, they can discover the teachings and values of Buddhism. They will be accompanied by adults assisted by the parents.

The General Assembly

The General assembly of the Tenbôrin Association will take place on the 14th July at the end of the first summer session

You can come to the AGM or the session independently.

If you can’t come, don’t forget to give your proxy. By default,
the proxy vote goes to the President of the Association.

Shohaku Okamura Roshi

Seminar:  “Living By Vow”
The engaged bodhisattva
in the modern world

  • 1st – 3rd of October

An exceptional meeting with Shohaku Okumura Roshi on the theme of the vows, which we pronounce when receiving ordination as bodhisattva ( Jukai) or monk or nun.

All practitioners, whatever their level of knowledge, will get areal benefit from this immersion into what constitutes the fundamentals of Zen practice.

The seminar will be followed by a sesshin with Guy Mokuho Mercier

Workshop – Discover And Liberate Your Voice

  • Oct 30th to Nov 2nd

This workshop will allow us to discover or rediscover the pleasure of singing, whether forgotten or unconsciously dimmed, and to dare to give our voice to others. The workshop will be led by Bernard Dufour and Jacky Brun.

The workshop will be followed by a sesshin with Guy Mokuhô Mercier the 3rd and 4th Novembre.
