Announcing the religious association, Horinji!

Dear friends of Sangha Tenbôrin,

The Zen Centre of Lanau has continued in recent years its activity of regular practice of sesshins (almost one every month), and more in-depth teaching sessions on the practice of the Way of the Buddha, the training of monks, nuns and boddhisattvas , during OGU seminars in particular. The Centre has been a welcoming place since its opening and remains open to all those wishing to deepen their practice of the Soto Zen way through seminars, sesshins, summer sessions or during longer stays throughout the year.

We are pleased to announce that the religious association Hôrinji, Soto Zen Buddhist Association of the Wheel of the Dharma, has just been officially registered with the Ministry of the Interior.

This is very important for the future of the Centre. Hôrinji can now receive donations and issue receipts giving the right to a tax deduction of 2/3 to 3/4 of their amount on the donor’s tax sheet (in France). These donations will be truly welcome for us. In the turbulent period full of uncertainties that we are going through, helping us to keep the Zen Center of Lanau open also means bringing help to those who need to refocus, to meditate, to deepen the Way and to open their bodhisattva heart. We participate in this movement which ensures a little stability in the world by keeping alive this place of peace.

We have set up an account on the HELLOASSO website which allows you to make a donation in a few clicks. You can also make a direct transfer to the bank account of the religious association Hôrinji or pay by check. A tax receipt will be sent to you at the beginning of the following year to allow you to deduct part of your donation from the amount of your tax on your tax return.
